This January (2005), I braved the sweaty masses at AVN looking for the best and most unique products to review for you. In this review I bring you the Showerplaymate from SPM Industries, an 8.5” cock-shaped stimulator powered by your shower. The SPM booth was overrun with curious consumers as the company publicly launched the device for the first time. The SPM booth consisted of a gigantic shower stall where both male and female models demonstrated the Showerplaymate in action (see the photos that accompany my review.)
The SPM folks were kind enough to provide an evaluation Showerplaymate unit to Silicon Slave. Assembly took my lover about 5 minutes (what – you thought the Diva was going to install it herself? I could break a nail, come on!!!) Everything necessary is included in the package: Teflon tape, dual shower arm diverter, hose, washers, and the Showerplaymate stimulator itself. No tools are required for a typical installation; the various parts only require hand tightening. The diverter allows you to continue to use your existing showerhead.
I couldn’t wait to try out the Showerplaymate. I’d had a long day at work, I just discovered my 2005 Lexus SC 430 had a paint chip on it, and again I had to yell at the maids for missing a spot with the vacuuming – I was ready for a hot a shower, let me tell you! I found the unit great to use. I was able to adjust the water pressure and temperature to get just the right level of spray. Note that the unit is not designed for insertion, only for external stimulation. I found it did a great job performing this function. In fact, I must say I love it, love it, love it! Not only did it stimulate my “precious area” but it makes for a great hand held shower head. I love rinsing the shampoo out of my hair with it because the strength of the pressure really makes my scalp tingle!! Ooooohhhh……
The Showerplaymate I tested was made of clear ABS plastic. It was able to readily transfer the heat from the water, causing the plastic “cock” to heat up as well. This made rubbing the cock on my pleasure regions an experience I look forward to repeating often. Ongoing maintenance of the unit is minimal. After each use it should be cleaned off and any remaining water in the unit drained out. Ladies, sometimes you have to treat yourself to a fun toy because you deserve it, and the Showerplaymate will make your time in the shower a memorable experience.
