When it comes to toys, I don’t mess around with just anything. It really takes an interesting toy to capture my attention. It needs to be appealing to the eyes and touch as well as safe. So when Phallix sent me one of their latest offerings the FP18 or Dichroic Wrapped G-Spot (7 Inches by 1 and 1/4 Inches) glass toy, I couldn’t wait to get it out of its package. I had so much fun with my last Phallix toy that the expectations were quite high for this sex toy. What can I say, I wasn’t disappointed and the last thing anyone wants to do is disappoint me.
This toy is very solidly constructed and the attention to detail is amazing. The tip of the unit is well formed in the shape of a penis head, complete with a dimple on the tip and indentations on the underbelly of the head where it joins the shaft. The shaft is a real work of art as well; it has a spiral band that has a blue outline where the sides of the band smoothly attach to the body. The band itself has some coloration embedded within it that catches the light and has various colors ranging from yellow to green to pink. It has a flared base that it can be stood up on for display or to dry and it has a slight bend and twist to it so that I can be sure to hit all the right spots whether I am playing with myself or my girlfriends. It also comes in a purple pillow case with a drawstring that provides a nice safe resting place for a clean toy.
This toy is easy to clean. I like to break out my favorite toy cleaner and give it a nice thorough dousing in my sink. Once I am done with cleaning (it doesn’t take much since Phallix glass sex toys are non-porous), I set it on its base and let it air-dry. Once dry back in its case ready for the next round of passion. I really like the cleaning aspect of it as normally I don’t like to share my sex toys with others, no matter how well I know them, but I feel okay about sharing this toy because I know that I can sterilize it between uses so that I don’t transfer anything between me and my partners.
The FP18 feels good and solid in my hand. It doesn’t feel cheap and there were no bubbles or issues with its construction that would lead me to believe it could fail prematurely. A good glass sex toy will cost more then your average battery powered gizmo so I want it to last through many sessions. The FP18 is made by hand by an expert glass master, so as expected I found no sharp edges or mismatched seems where the spiral band was bonded to the shaft. As with any sex toy, I really give it a good examination before putting it anywhere near my privates and I am happy to report that the Phallix Dichroic Wrapped G-Spot passed with flying colors. I am confident that this toy will out last many of my subs and will provide many years of fine service and on top of that, it is so pretty.
