Well folks, I’ve been very busy this month bringing a new nurse “up” to speed on the “ins and outs” of my office, so I haven’t really had time to review too many DVD’s. But I had a night to myself last week and decided to check out “Sex City,” Private’s version of a seriously dark film in the mainstream called Sin City. I must say that this is one of the more theatrical films I’ve seen this year. This is a typical Private film, which was shot in French, but expertly dubbed with English (and other languages) voices. While the actor’s lips may seem slightly out of synch at times, for the most part it’s not noticeable, especially given the beautiful women and hot sex that rolls across the screen between speaking parts.
The movie is true to its mainstream counterpart in many ways, especially in their use of pure black-and-white film... well… kind of. It’s that really cool technique where they make the entire scene black and white except for ONE thing, like a dress, or a chair, or one person. Also, the music is actually good, instead of bland and overused. The scenes tend to be somewhat disjointed, but as with most Private films the women and men are all beautiful to the extreme, which means you won't have to worry much about continuity since the sex is hot and there’s plenty of it.
Most amazing to me was the length of the film. Its three hours long! There's a bit of talking and some non-sex action scenes, but for the most part its all sex. That, coupled with the second disc which is PACKED full of extras, you are really getting your money's work here folks!

Scene 1: Guy-Girl
Set in a very posh apartment in a high-rise. Everything is black and white except for her red dress, making the scene very surreal. After some sucking, the action gets going fast as he plows his member into her from behind as she kneels on a wicker chair. He then sits down in that same chair and lets her ride him, facing away. In typical Private fashion, they easily transition into anal while she is still riding him. A hand-job finishes off the scene.
Scene 2 & 3: Girl/Guy and Girl/Guy
The story portion continues as we meet the main characters in a sleazy bar. We meet the bad-guy, who we see getting out of jail in the opening scene, and the good guy, who looks like a mac truck with legs. The sex in the scene starts in a warehouse in which two girls are held captive and the guy has his way with one of them, while the other is strung up tight. Meanwhile, outside the warehouse, a "cop" is given a blow from a local professional. Both girls get it from behind and then some anal action as both scenes go on in parallel.
Scene 4: Girl/Guy
We jump right into scene three with a girl from the bar riding the "good guy" we met earlier. It switches to side-action, then adds in anal action and a blow-job finish. The plot is continued as the cop comes out of coma and the underworld is alerted to this fact.
Scene 5: Girl/Girl/Guy
Two beauties take on one of the underworld heads pool-side, in this hot scene. They fuck and suck him dry over the course of 25 minutes! The classic finish with the guy standing, cumming on his playmates faces as they kneel in front of him is a stunning end to this great scene.
Scene 6: Girl/Girl/Girl
We're back at the high-rise hotel, but this time with three girls, two brunette and a blond, playing in a huge king-sized bed. The film technique of all black-and-white is used here, the only thing in color are the girl's sex toys. Intermixed with shots of the women rubbing and sucking is a series of shots in which the main character is fixing himself up after a scuffle with the underworld bad guys. This adds a bit of contrast to the scene, helping us appreciate the soft bodies of the women even more!
Scene 7: Girl/Guy
The bad guy has his way with a blond in a hotel room. We start with him giving her a stern tongue lashing, and her sucking him hard. At this point, the remaining scene begins to blend together three different sex scenes happening at the same time. The main character is being serviced by one of the three women from the previous scene, the other two women keep playing in the big bed, and the bad guy continues fucking his blond plaything.
Scene 8: Girl/Guy
A nurse services the bad guy, right in front of a hand-cuffed good cop in the hospital. Some quick vaginal fucking moves right into anal. They switch into a strange position where he is laying on the bed across the legs of the cop as she rides him anally. A blowjob finishes the scene.
Scene 9: Girl/Guy/Guy
In a flash-back scene, we get to see two of the main characters fuck a brunette in her apartment. In the mean time, another woman looks on from the distance; enjoying herself as she lays there naked in this all black-and-white scene, save for her pink robe. The scene finishes with a spectacular double penetration and double pearl necklace.
The movie ends with a bit of a cliff-hanger, really setting us up for the sequel, which is on my list of DVD’s to review… that is, as soon as I finish prepping my examination table for my new nurse’s next lesson.
Overall folks – I highly recommend this movie. It’s definitely worth your time and money!
