Yo, yo, yo Rocketman comin’ atchya with another out of this world review! OK, so your partner breaks out in a rash whenever you use a latex condom during sex. Does that mean you’ve got an STD – Hell no! She’s allergic to latex, dummy! You need to get yourself some non-latex condoms, like the ones I’m covering in this review. Every now and then I tangle with a female wrestler with a latex allergy, and the Durex® Avanti® Superthin lubricated condom is a product that I personally field tested recently. Here are my thoughts on this particular love glove.

You know the Rocketman likes to tell it to you straight. Well, the Avanti condom is not a good product for those of you who like it a little rough. My partner was a little dry shall we say (OK - she was the freakin’ Sahara Desert, alright??!!) These condoms are supposed to be lubricated, but the Rocketman busted through the first one like a fat lady through fishnets. When the Durex folks say “Superthin” on the box, they aren’t messing around.

On the plus side, if you are looking for the maximum in sensation in a non-latex condom, you can’t go wrong with the Avanti. This condom can also be used with an oil-based lubricant (something, in hindsight, I wish I had read earlier on the box). Lube is a must with these condoms as the lubricant that comes pre-treated on the condoms dries rapidly. Durex is a well-known brand with a good reputation, the product is widely available, and best of all, these condoms are highly effective at preventing STD’s – “if used correctly” (according to the package).

In conclusion, for those of you sensitive types who like your love-making all nicey-nice, these condoms are for you. Those of you who like a little extra thrust in your lust, my advice is keep shopping.
