The poolside parties at Internext 2004 were a lot of fun. Free food, free drinks, and free eye-candy were in abundance. There were some "hostesses" entertaining the guests by the pool. There was a belly-flop contest (including a fully-equipped gorilla). There was even diving for dollars when one of the sponsors dumped several thousands of dollars in cash into the pool – lets just say that there was flesh flying all over for this one.
The highlight of the evening was the Sum Poosie Bottle Model contest. There were over thirty models from around the world competing for this lucrative contract. Competition was fierce but in the end there could be only one, let me say Cigars aren't the only quality thing that comes out of Cuba. Sum Poosie was also a real class act and made sure that none of their guests went thirsty. Sum Poosie Energy Drink plus a little rum plus Bottle Models made the evening very memorable.
If you attend Internext and don’t attend the parties you are truly missing out. They are a great place to make contacts and the other fringe benefits aren’t too bad either. My recommendation if you truly want to make the most of it is stay at the hotel where Internext is hosted (check with the hosting company for convention specials so you don’t get gouged on rates), it will save you a lot of time, parking tolls, and if you get a little intoxicated your room is within crawling distance. Thanks to all the sponsors of Internext Summer 2004 poolside parties for making them a memorable experience. |
