The good people at Doc Johnson� sent SiliconSlave a sample of one of their newest lubricants: Exotic Pleasures�. Most people don�t think of the lubricant they use as part of an overall erotic experience. These people stick with mediocre utility lubes (and sex toys, for that matter) that get the job done cheaply without a lot of finesse. Now don�t get me wrong; this is perfectly fine for a little quick jack action or a lunchtime rendezvous, but for a more romantic session of lovemaking you need a lubricant that takes it to the next level.

�Now wait a minute,� you�re thinking. �Rocketman? Romance? Say it isn�t so!� Yes folks, even rough and ready guys like myself have to turn on the charm and submit to a romantic evening of dinner, wine, and candles now and then to keep the ladies in our lives happy! For these special times I turn to colored and flavored lube, like the Passion Fruit flavored Exotic Pleasures lubricant I am reviewing this time around. This product is one which hits four out of your five senses like a piledriver: taste, sight, touch, and smell.

Visually, Exotic Pleasures catches the eye with its neon colors and cool suspended bubbles. The sample I tried had a very strong passion fruit taste, which reminded me of cough syrup. It�s not that the taste was bad; it just seemed a little too strong. That is something you may want to consider if strong taste is going to be a turnoff for you. The passion fruit scent was somewhat more subtle than the taste was. On the skin, Exotic Pleasures was smooth and slippery, just as you would expect from a high quality lube.

It�s important that a lube maintain its slickness for a long time without frequent re-application. In testing Exotic Pleasures did indeed maintain its anti-friction qualities for more than ten minutes with a quarter-sized dab of the lube. In summary, this is an overall well-designed product and a worthy addition to your array of lubricants for different occasions.
